One of the hardest aspects of writing, for any age, is thinking of what to write. Most people experience writer's block at some point during their careers as writers, which often leads to frustration and possible abandonment of the composition. To help my students get passed their writers block I developed a classroom poster that lists some of the many strategies we will learn about in class to overcome writers block. These strategies were taken from research articles and a blog by a prominent writing teacher.
